Program Mission
The program BS in English aims to equip the students with a repertoire of skills and a knowledge base which allows them to have a firm grounding in the fields of Linguistics and English Literature. At the same time, the program is geared towards developing and strengthening their critical thinking and effective communication to break new grounds and discover new avenues as well as arm them with skills which further helps them to pursue higher studies where they can critique the current trends in linguistics and literature fields.
Program Objectives:
- To familiarize the learners with the traditional and latest developments in the field of Linguistics and Literature and have good standing in theoretical knowledge in these fields.
- To enable the graduates to apply knowledge gained in the degree program effectively and efficiently.
- To enable the students to identify the current global trends in linguistics and literature.
- To encourage critical thinking and effective communication skills to critique the current knowledge in these disciplines.
- To pursue higher studies in any International University of high repute.
- To familiarize the students with the basis of general courses of different disciplines.
