The students of the BS 3rd semester from the Department of Biotechnology at Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mirpur, have launched an initiative aimed at plant conservation to protect the environment. Today, the students officially kicked off their plantation week at the main campus. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr. Muhammad Altaf Hussain, Chairperson of the Department of Biotechnology along with faculty members.

During the event, the Chairperson, faculty, and students actively participated in the plantation session. The students also provided a briefing to the Chairperson, outlining their goals and strategies for environmental conservation. In conclusion, Dr. Altaf Hussain commended the students for their commendable initiative and assured them of the department’s full support.
