June 2, 2025The Department of Allied Health Sciences organised Seminar focused on raising Awareness on Diagnostic Tests
The Department of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences of Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mirpur AJ&K successfully hosted a seminar on “Diagnostic Test Awareness for Proactive Health Approaches.” Key highlights included:
– Keynote session by Dr. Humaira Shafi (PhD), Chief Toxicologist, Chughtai Labs Lahore
– Awareness session by Dr. Zahida Qasim, HOD Pathology Department, DHQ Mirpur AJK
– Student and faculty presentations from AHS
Certificates of participation were distributed to attendees. The seminar aimed to enhance community services in response to sudden diseases and fatalitie & foster research initiatives in Allied Health Sciences. Dr. Aqeel Mahmood, Coordinator-AHS delivered closing remarks, concluding the event. This seminar marked a significant step in promoting proactive health approaches and research in AHS.
