July 1, 2025MUSTival 2025 marks Three Days of vibrant celebration illuminating Creativity, Knowledge, Camaraderie & Student ingenuity

The Directorate of Students Affairs in collaboration with Societies of Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K successfully organised MUSTival 2K25 at the City Campus of the University which was inaugurated by Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI (M), Vice Chancellor MUST alongside Senior Academic & Administrative Officials. The event brought Students, Teachers, Alumni & Guests together to celebrate education, culture & Student talent. The festival was planned by the Student Societies such as AAINA, GSM, and ASCE with support of ASHRAE MUST, ISBS MUST, SOIR, SOYL, SOYD, MUST Literary Society & English Literary Society (ELS). During the first two days many colorful stalls were set up around the campus. These stalls displayed student projects, local businesses & social initiatives. Some of the stalls included IEIS, Paragon, Career Adviser, Nafees, Mano Salva, Shahgee & many others. On Day 1 Seminar on Climate Change and sustainability was held where Mr. Ali Abbas from Go Clean Pakistan & Mr. Zohaib Baig, MUST graduate and UN delegate spoke about the importance of protecting the environment. Later in the day the All-Pakistan Bilingual Declamation Contest took place. Students from different universities gave powerful speeches in both Urdu and English and winners were given shields in a ceremony.
On Day 2, Students took part in technical & literary competitions. The Popsicle Bridge Competition organised by ASCE tested the students’ creativity & engineering skills. The English Literary Society hosted Literary Bingo, adding a fun twist to the day. A Mushaira was held in the Mechanical Hall and was attended by over 250 students. Famous poets like Shehzad Mehdi, Abdullah Zareem & Ahsan Sulaiman shared their verses during the session. On the last day the Irfan Shaheed Blood Society held a seminar to raise awareness about blood donation & ASHRAE MUST displayed Final-Year Engineering Projects developed by graduating students. Organising Students, Volunteers & Sponsors were honoured with Shields & Awards by Colonel (R) Muhammad Maroof Khan, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister AJ&K, Prof. Dr. Anwar Khitab, Dean Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Advocate Abdul Aziz and Mr. Ayaz from Bestway & Siraj Steel Mills. The University also thanked sponsors such as Sunrise Computers, Allure, Career Advisors, Rehman Bakers, Dar Jewelers, PK Marketing, and many others.
