Brigadier Younus Javed inaugurates renovated Quaid-e-Azam Hostel, a refurbished & reinvigorated facility with improved Student amenities, reflecting sustained initiatives of MUST, Mirpur AJ&K to enrich Campus life & augment residential standards

Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI (M) Vice Chancellor, Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K inaugurated Quaid-e-Azam Hostel after its comprehensive retrofitting & renovation. The Hostel which had remained closed for two years has been transformed into comfortable living space for students. During his visit Vice Chancellor toured the upgraded facilities & overall environment. He commended Prof. Dr. Anwar Khitab, Dean Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Dr. Zafar Ali Khan, Provost Hostels, Mr. Muhammad Ayub, Director Estate Management & their entire team for exceptional efforts in restoring the hostel to better living standards. The refurbished hostel now accommodates 64 students with fully equipped gymnasium & Students cafeteria.

Brigadier Younus Javed also visited the gym where he interacted with concerned staff discussed it’s further improvement & encouraged the Administration of Hostels to take collective responsibility in maintaining the hostels as vibrant & welcoming space that supports student well-being. The inaugural session was attended by Prof. Dr. Anwar Khitab, Dean Faculty Health and Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sajid, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Dr. Rashida Hussain, Dean Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, Dr. Muhammad Altaf, Director Students Affairs, Chairpersons, Faculty Members & Administrative Officers.
