Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) team from MUST, led by QEC Director, Engr. Dr. Khuram Pervez Amber, and comprised of Deputy Director, Dr. Abdul Jabbar, and Assistant Director, Ms. Shamaila Zafar, visited Ghazi Elahi Baksh Girls Degree College in Mirpur to participate in the Assessment Team (AT) visit for the College’s BS programs in Botany, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Economics. The team, accompanied by subject experts, was warmly received by the acting principal of the college. The QEC director introduced himself and his team, emphasizing the importance of AT visits in upholding quality standards. During the presentation, representatives from each program shared insights. Both the QEC team and subject experts meticulously scrutinized evidence and engaged in discussions with the principal and program teams. They also inspected various facilities such as laboratories, classrooms, and staff rooms. Separate meetings were held with students and faculty members. Concluding the visit, the director of QEC expressed gratitude to the principal and presented major findings. It was agreed that the college would address identified shortcomings, with QEC pledging support, including faculty capacity building. QEC MUST remains committed to ensuring quality education for our students.
