May 29, 2024Biotechnology Department of Mirpur University hosts its inaugural Annual Event to bid farewell to the Dean FN&AS & Graduating Class
Prof. Dr. Khizer ul Haq, Registrar Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K participated as Chief Guest in an Annual Event organised by Department of Biotechnology under Chairmanship of Dr. Muhammad Altaf HoD Biotechnology /Director Students’ Affairs. The event was held in honour of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aslam, Dean Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences (FN&AS) who is retiring after completing 37 years of meritorious service, as well as to celebrate the outgoing class of the Department of Biotechnology; Occasion was celebrated in the fabulous environment of the Golden Marquee, Mirpur AJ&K on Monday, May 27, 2024.
Upon arriving at the venue Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aslam, Dean of FN&AS & Dr. Khizer ul Haq, Registrar MUST were given phenomenal welcome by Faculty Members & Students of the Department of Biotechnology. The outgoing students shared their feelings, expressed gratitude to their teachers & performed Sufi Qalam and Qalam-e-Iqbal. Dr. Muhammad Altaf, Chairman of the Department of Biotechnology and Prof. Dr. Khizer ul Haq, Registrar MUST spoke in the honour of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aslam Dean FN&AS, commending his outstanding service, professionalism, hard work, and commitment to the institution. Dr. Khizer ul Haq also praised Dr. Muhammad Altaf, Chairman Department of Biotechnology, Faculty Members and Students for organising such an exceptional event.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aslam, Dean Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences (FN&AS) expressed gratitude to Department of Biotechnology for honoring his retirement. He praised Dr. Muhammad Altaf, faculty, and students for the memorable event which he said would remain in his memories. Dean FN&AS also extended his thanks to Prof. Dr. Khizer ul Haq, Registrar MUST for honoring farewell ceremony with his presence. During his speech Dr. Aslam shared highs and lows of his professional journey aiming to inspire the young participants to remain committed & strive for their dreams. At the culmination of the farewell ceremony shields were presented, serving as tokens of appreciation & memory.
