The Students Assistance Centre of Mirpur University organized a cheque distribution ceremony in the Mechanical Hall of the City Campus of Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K for the Pak Scottish Scholarship Scheme for female students. Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI (M), Vice Chancellor Mirpur University, distributed scholarship certificates and cheques amounting to more than 8 million to female students of the University. He congratulated them on achieving this scholarship and advised them to work tirelessly for their families and for the betterment of society. The Vice Chancellor also praised Dr. Naveed Akram, Director SAC and his entire team for their dedication, which resulted in the British Council increasing the scholarship amount from Rs. 3 million to Rs. 16 million this year.

Engr. Dr. Naveed Akram, Director SAC in his remarks acknowledged the support of Vice Chancellor throughout the year. Further he briefed the audience regarding this scholarship scheme and encouraged the awardee students to motivate their fellows to avail themselves of this good opportunity this year.The ceremony was attended by Dr. Muhammad Altaf, Director Student Affairs, Mr. Zahir Ali Akbar, Deputy Director SAC, Mustafa Yousaf, Office Assistant SAC, Ms. Sundas Jameel, DEO, Mr. Arshad Mehmood, Mr. Mansoor Khan and the parents of the awardees.
