Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K hosted Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Workshop exploring the advanced concepts of Industry 4.0 with an exclusive talk by Engr. Dr. Saeed Ahmed in the Video Conference Room of the Network and Telecommunication Centre (NTC) on Monday, June 24, 2024, session focused on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) & Cyber Security attracting Professionals and Academics keen to explore the future of industry. Dr. Saeed Ahmed guided participants through the progression from Industry 1.0 to Industry 4.0 highlighting the transformative impact of IIoT on manufacturing and supply chains. He also addressed the cybersecurity challenges arising from increased connectivity, emphasising the need for proactive measures to protect industrial systems and data.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sajid, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology commended professionalism of Dr. Saeed Ahmed & his ability to simplify complex topics leading to a healthy discussions on implementing IIoT strategies & strengthening cybersecurity frameworks. The workshop’s insights are set to influence future research and industry practices across various sectors.

He also emphasised the importance of the CPD workshop, pointing out that it showed University’s commitment to quality education, by explaining the impact of Industry 4.0, the workshop gave professionals the essential knowledge needed to succeed in the digital age.
