The rapid evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) and computational tools in recent years has opened new avenues for diagnosing and managing complex neurological conditions, including Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). Traditional diagnostic methods, though effective, often involve invasive procedures, high costs, and limited accessibility. This CPD talk, led by Dr. Shamila Nasreen, a dedicated software engineer and researcher with 13 years of experience in the field, will explore an innovative approach to Alzheimer’s Disease diagnosis through the analysis of natural dialogues. By leveraging AI and modern engineering, Dr Shamila Nasreen’s work focuses on identifying subtle language patterns and interaction cues within everyday conversations, which may reveal early signs of cognitive decline associated with Alzheimer’s.
