A delegation comprising sixteen Senior Officers from 36th Senior Management Course from Foreign Service of Pakistan, Pakistan Administrative Service, Police Service Pakistan, Inland Revenue Service, Pakistan Audit & Accounts Service, Information Group and Provincial Services led by Mr. Tahseen Sadiq Tarar, Directing Staff, Senior Management Wing, Ms. Nazia Jabeen, Coordinator 36th SMC and Mr. Shahid Gulzar, Coordinator SMC from National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), Lahore visited Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K on Monday, November 18, 2024.
Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI (M), Vice Chancellor MUST, Mirpur AJ&K extended a warm reception to the delegation upon their arrival at the City Campus. He was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Khizer ul Haq, Registrar MUST, Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Director, Faculty of MUST Business School, Dr. Muhammad Altaf, Director Students Affairs, Major (R) Chaudhary Jahangir Ahmed, Chief Security Officer, Mr. Imtiaz Ahmad Bhat, Director NTC, Mr. Ansir Ali Khan, Deputy Director Students Affairs, Mr. Hafeez Bin Mustafa, Public Relations Officer, and Mr. Zafar Iqbal, Security Officer.
In his opening remarks, Brigadier Younus Javed welcomed the faculty and officers of 36th Senior Management Course & expressed his appreciation for their visit MUST. He also highlighted the significance of such engagements in strengthening ties between Public Sector Universities and Senior bureaucracy in Pakistan, he stressed that such interactions would contribute to mutual growth by addressing the issues and challenges faced by Universities. Later Mr. Ansir Ali Khan, Deputy Director Students Affairs gave a detailed presentation on the organisational structure of the University, it’s functioning, achievements, contributions at the State, National & International levels, challenges and future plans of Mirpur University. The officers asked various questions about the functioning and activities of the university which were addressed by the Vice Chancellor and Registrar. At the culmination of the briefing shields were exchanged between MUST & NIPA followed by a visit to the Central Library.
