As we embark on another academic year in the Department of Microbiology, I am filled with both excitement and gratitude. It would be a great honor & pride to bring values to my Department. The field of microbiology is ever-evolving, presenting us with new challenges and opportunities that shape our understanding of the microscopic world and its vast impact on our lives and environment. Our department is dedicated to build on its strong foundation of excellence in research, teaching, and community engagement. Our faculty members remain committed to advancing knowledge through groundbreaking research, while our students are at the heart of our mission, driving innovation and discovery with their enthusiasm and dedication.
We are proud of the achievements we have made together and look forward to new milestones. Our ongoing projects reflect the diversity of interests within our field, from microbial genetics and infectious diseases to environmental microbiology and biotechnology.
