Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), AJ&K, Hosts Team AdVentures from Islamabad for Collaborative Engagement.
A delegation from AdVentures, Islamabad, led by Mr. Parvez Abbasi, Founder of AdVentures, visited the Business Incubation Center (BIC) at Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mirpur, AJ&K, on Thursday, November 28, 2024. The visit marked a significant milestone in fostering collaboration between academia and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Engr. Dr. Ghulam Qadir, Director of BIC, accompanied by Arsalan Ijaz, Manager of Marketing and Communication (BIC), Nasir Mehmood, Business Development Officer (BIC), and Prof. Dr. Faisal Riaz, Director of ORIC, along with other members of the BIC and ORIC teams.
In his opening remarks, Engr.Dr. Ghulam Qadir expressed his gratitude to AdVentures for their visit and emphasized the importance of such collaborations in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. He provided a brief overview of the university, the Business Incubation Center (BIC), and the Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC). Engr.Dr.Ghulam Qadir highlighted that partnerships like these play a crucial role in developing students and professionals, equipping them to address modern challenges with creative solutions.
The delegation toured key facilities at the Business Incubation Center (BIC), including CARLAB, Selftech Pvt Ltd (a BIC-MUST startup), and the Virtual Classroom, where they observed innovative projects and learning environments that align with the university’s mission to foster creativity and technological advancement.
The visit concluded with the signing of an MoU between AdVentures and Business Incubation Center (BIC) MUST ,signifying the start of a promising partnership.
