A farewell ceremony was organised in the honour of Prof. Dr. Khizer ul Haq, Registrar, Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K by the Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities and the Faculty of MUST Business School at Nafees Restaurant Mirpur. The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool, creating a serene & reverent atmosphere for the evening.

Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities/Director, Faculty of MUST Business School, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sajid, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq, Chief Finance Officer, and Dr. Rahat Shareef, Chairperson, Department of Home Economics acknowledged the valuable contributions of Prof. Dr. Khizer-ul-Haq & appreciated his dedication and service to the University’s role in its Administrative and Academic growth. They paid tribute to his commitment and contributions to the University.

Brigadier Younus Javed, VC MUST in his speech commended the remarkable services of Prof. Dr. Khizer-ul-Haq & his tremendous efforts in strengthening the institution. He highlighted the pivotal role played by the Registrar in achieving all the major successes & overcoming challenges during his tenure over the last three and a half years. The Vice Chancellor emphasised that as his subordinate the Registrar always stood by him and displayed complete loyalty in all matters, which further strengthened the bond and trust, significantly contributing to the enhancement and growth of the university. Prof. Dr. Khizer-ul-Haq thanked Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities / Faculty of MUST Business School, Head of the Departments & Faculty Members for arranging the farewell for him. He also shed light on various aspects of his life and service. Shields & gifts were presented to Prof. Dr. Khizer ul Haq as a token of appreciation for his dedicated service.
