The Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences in collaboration with Chemical Society of Science launched Plantation Drive 2025 at Academic Block II, Natural and Applied Sciences Jarikas. The event was inaugurated by Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI (M), Vice Chancellor, Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K together with Prof. Dr. Naeem Iqbal Ratyal, Registrar MUST, Prof. Dr. Anwar Khitab, Dean Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Prof. Zafar Iqbal, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Prof. Dr. Rashida Hussain, Dean Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, Administrative Officers, Head of the Department, Faculty Members and Students of the FN&AS.

This initiative aims to promote environmental sustainability and raise awareness about the importance of afforestation. Faculty members and students actively participated in Planting Trees further solidifying the University’s commitment to Greener future. Speaking at the event, the Vice Chancellor highlighted the critical role of tree plantation in combating climate change and encouraged students to take an active role in environmental conservation. The event concluded with a collective pledge to continue such efforts to promote a healthier ecosystem.
