PhD Scholar Ms. Aneeq khadum Department of Mathematics of Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K successfully defended her PhD thesis after completion of her research under the supervision of Dr. Aamir Sagheer, Associate Professor, titled as:

“MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS AND APPLICATION OF T-X FAMILY OF DISTRIBUTIONS”

The thesis of Ms. Aneeq Khadium was evaluated by two international evaluators

1. Dr. Felix Famoye (Profesor & Consulting Statistician), Department of Statistics, Actuarial & Data Sciences,
Central Michigan University, USA.

2. Dr. Christophe Chesneau (Associate Professor) LMNO, University of Caen, France.

Chairpersons, Directors Faculty Members & Students attended the Open Public Defence.The first of the sixth newly minted PhDs was completed in March under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rashida Hussain. The next followed in June under the supervision of Dr. Syed Zakir Hussain Bukhari, after which three more completed in the month of August. Two of them were supervised by Prof. Dr. Rashida Hussain and one by Dr. Asghar Ali. The sixth and final one have completed her PhD today, under the supervision of Dr. Aamir Sagheer.
