The Department of Microbiology of Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST) successfully held an awareness seminar and medical camp at Government Girls High School in Kalyal. Led by the department’s Coordinator, Dr. Tahseen Ismail, students actively educated the community about the dangers of the Dengue virus, Malaria, and Typhoid Fever. The session covered the spread and impact of these infectious diseases on public health in Mirpur and provided essential preventive strategies. Students and faculty delivered critical information to help attendees control infections and promote a healthier future.

The camp emphasized the importance of hygiene and healthy lifestyles, serving as a powerful initiative to raise public health awareness. The combined efforts of MUST faculty and students made this event a success, and similar initiatives will continue to strengthen our mission to enhance community well-being.
