The Department of Physics of Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K in collaboration with Muslim Hands Mirpur and MUST Society of Sciences organized a Plantation Drive at the Science Block Jari Kas. The event began with the inaugural planting by Prof. Dr. Khizar ul Haq, Registrar MUST, Mirpur AJ&K who emphasized the importance of maintaining the newly planted trees. He commended the faculty and students for their efforts to enhance the green and sustainable environment.

Following the inaugural planting, Director Student Affairs, Director Estate Management & Chairpersons of the the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Statistics also planted trees. A large-scale plantation was undertaken by science students around the Science Block Jari Kas. Regular classes continued as scheduled with students participating in the plantation during their free periods. This plantation drive will continue until July 30, 2024.
