Under the Executive Leadership-Students module of the USAID Higher Education System Strengthening Activity (HESSA), the Directorate of Students Affairs organized a key meeting with the Presidents of all University societies and clubs. This module aims to empower students by developing their leadership skills, global awareness and providing opportunities to make meaningful contributions to society. The meeting served as a platform for constructive dialogue between student leaders and the university administration, ensuring a collaborative approach to student engagement and development. Dr. Muhammad Altaf, Director Students Affairs and Mr. Ansir Ali Khan, Deputy Director Students Affairs praised the proactive involvement of student leaders and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to supporting student initiatives. “Our students play a crucial role in shaping the university experience. By working together, we can create an environment that fosters leadership, innovation, and social responsibility,” the Officers emphasized.
The discussion also addressed the challenges faced by student societies and clubs, with a focus on fostering a more inclusive and vibrant campus life. The 2025 event calendar was finalized through mutual consultation, prioritizing student participation in academic, cultural, and extracurricular activities throughout the year. Additionally, the student Presidents provided nominations for the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With a shared vision and structured planning, the university and its student bodies are poised to embark on a dynamic year ahead, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to holistic student development.
