PhD Scholar Engr. Usman Mussadiq Department of Electrical Engineering of Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K successfully defended his PhD thesis after completing his research under the supervision of Engr. Dr. Saeed Ahmed Assistant Professor, titled as:

“INTELLIGENT AND ECO-FRIENDLY ENERGY SHARING SCHEMES AMONG PROSUMERS IN SMART GRID ENVIRONMENT”.

The thesis of Engr. Usman Mussadiq was evaluated by two international evaluators, Dr. Raziq Yaqub (Associate Professor, Alabama A&M universiry, USA) and Dr. Sana Ullah Jan (Assistant Professor, Edinburg Napier University, UK) while Prof. Dr. Qadeer ul Hassan (COMSATS, Islamabad) had evaluated the research work as a Local Evaluator. All the three Evaluators have recommended the scholar for the award of PhD Degree. Prof. Dr. Hassan Mujtaba Jafri (Dean FoET), Prof. Dr. Naeem Iqbal Ratyal (Chairman, EED), Prof. Dr. Qadeer ul Hassan (Evaluator), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sajid (Director ASRB), Dr. Saeed Ahmed (Ph.D. Supervisor), Dr. Zafar Ali khan (Member Supervisory Committee), Dr. Anwar ul Haq (Member Supervisory Committee), Mr. Shoukat Hayat (Deputy Director, QEC), and Chairpersons, faculty members, Ph.D. Scholars, M.Phil Scholars and undergraduate students of other departments have attended the OPEN PUBLIC DEFENSE.

The defense was started with the recitation of Holy Quran by Engr. Muhammad Adnan Ashraf, and Naat e Rasool by Engr. Mahmood ul Hassan. Later PhD Scholar Engr. Usman Mussadiq presented his research work which followed by question answer session. At the culmination of the proceeding Prof. Dr. Syed Hassan Mujtab Jafri, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FoET) made announcement of the recommendations for the award of Ph.D. Degree to Engr. Usman Mussadiq.
