The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (FHMS) of Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K hosted a farewell event on December 31, 2024 to honor Prof. Dr. Tahseen Ghous, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FoSS&H), on the occasion of her retirement. Prof. Dr. Ghous was celebrated for her distinguished career, characterized by a strong dedication to academic excellence and a commitment to the growth of the university. Throughout her tenure, she guided both faculty and students, fostering an environment conducive to success and development.

The event was attended by various distinguished members of MUST, including Prof. Dr. Khizer ul Haq, Registrar MUST; Prof. Dr. Anwar Khatab, Dean FHMS, Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Director, MUST Business School/Dean FoSS&H, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq, Treasurer; Dr. Mian Muhammad Zeeshan, Chairman, Department of Pharmacy and several Heads of Departments and faculty members. Prof. Dr. Anwar Khatab delivered the welcome note, and speakers, including Prof. Dr. Khizer-ul-Haq, acknowledged Prof. Dr. Ghous’s remarkable contributions to the university. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of a token of appreciation, wishing Prof. Dr. Tahseen Ghous all the best for her future endeavors.
