Brigadier Younus Javed lauded the monumental efforts of Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences of Mirpur University for achieving towering growth & prominence in Health Sector.

Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences of Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K organised Annual Event at Jabeer Marquee. Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI (M), Vice Chancellor MUST, Mirpur participated in the event as cheif guest, it was also attended by senior medical officials of Mirpur and Bhimber District.

Speaking on the occasion Brigadier Younus Javed commended Prof. Dr. Anwar Khitab, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Dr. Mian Muhammad Zeeshan Javed, Chairman, Department of Pharmacy / Department of Physical Therapy and and Dr. Sumaira Irum Khan, Coordinator, Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics/Department of Allied & Health Sciences all Faculty Members and Administrative Staff for their collective efforts & initiatives taken for the development of the faculty. Honourable Vice Chancellor also thanked the Major General Zaheer Akhtar, Secretary Health Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir and Senior Health Officials of Mirpur Division.

At the culmination of the event Brigadier Younus Javed awarded shields, performance awards to position holders /certificates to students who actively participated in event and awarded Rs. 10,000/- to Ayesha Arooj (Doctor of Physical Therapy 3rd Semester) for presenting Kalam of Main Muhammad Bukhash.

Honourable Vice Chancellor MUST also announced Rs.100,000/- as an appreciation for Prof. Dr. Anwar Khitab, Dean Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Dr. Main Muhammad Zeeshan Javed, Chairman, Department of Pharmacy / Department of Physical Therapy and Dr. Sumaira Irum Khan, Coordinator, Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics /Department of Allied & Health Sciences.
