Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences of MUST, Mirpur AJK organized Breast Cancer wareness Seminar under Higher Education Commission Pink Ribbon Campaign, emphasizing Prevention & Early Detection

A Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar was organized under the HEC Pink Ribbon Campaign by Prof. Dr. Rashida Hussain, Dean FNAS/ HEC Focal Person of Mirpur University. The event aimed to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment. Distinguished medical professionals addressed the session, including Dr. Zoona Zahid (Gynaecologist, DHQ Hospital Mirpur), Dr. Memona Nazir (Radiologist, MIMC/MOTH), Dr. Mehwish Farooq Naz (Medical Oncologist, MOTH), and Dr. Fatima Yaqoob (APMO, DHO Office Mirpur AJK). The speakers highlighted the importance of early screening, healthy lifestyle choices, and timely medical consultation.

The seminar was attended by faculty, staff, and students, who actively participated in the interactive session. Awareness materials and pink ribbons were distributed among the participants, reaffirming their collective commitment to supporting breast cancer awareness.
