The final evaluation of the Internship Reports and Case Study Poster Presentations for the final semester students of BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics (Batch FA 2021–2025) was conducted by the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, under the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), AJ&K. The evaluation was conducted by an esteemed panel comprising Dr. Usman Naeem, Assistant Professor, University of Lahore, who served as the external evaluator, along with internal evaluators Mr. M. Aqib Saeed (Coordinator/Internship Supervisor), Ms. Komal Saif (Lecturer), Ms. Poushmal Abdul Rizzaq (Lecturer), and Mr. Ammar Haleem (Lecturer). The evaluators provided constructive feedback and commended the students for their professional approach and academic performance.
The Dean of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Anwar Khitab visited the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics. He expressed his appreciation for the students’ efforts and remarked that the poster presentations were “among the finest ever presented.” His encouraging words served as a great morale booster for the students and faculty alike. The report writing component required students to conduct comprehensive analyses of nutrition assessments and case studies. Through this, they effectively applied the Nutrition Care Process (NCP)—including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation—in real-world clinical scenarios.
The poster presentation segment allowed students to visually demonstrate their understanding of various diseases and Medical Nutrition Therapy. The presentations were evaluated based on clarity, creativity, and communication effectiveness. Three positions were awarded for their outstanding poster presentations, and three others received recognition for their insightful and detailed case evaluations. Congratulations to all final-semester students for their exceptional work and dedication. The department applauds their commitment to academic excellence and their promising potential as future nutrition professionals.
