Engineering Faculty & Students of Mirpur University accomplished Financial Funding for Ten Final Year Design Projects (FYDPs), in multiple projects within a single year from Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Islamabad, further establishing its prominence as a leading institution of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K).

Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Islamabad & Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K Collaborated Final Year Design Projects (FYDPs) Financing Ceremony at Video Conference Room of the City Campus of Mirpur University on Friday, May 03, 2024 at 1400 hrs. Event started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, cheques to the deserving recipients of the prestigious FYDPs awards from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for Academic Year 2023-24 were distributed.The Pakistan Engineering Council team comprising MUST Alumni Engr. Asghar Hayat and Engr. Danyal Hameed graced the occasion along with Engr. Asghar Hayat, Chief Guest of the FYDP financing ceremony.

MUST, Mirpur AJ&K proudly announces its achievement at Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Pakistan for securing financial funding for ten Final Year Design Projects (FYDPs) submitted by faculty members and students across various Engineering Departments. This success comes after a thorough evaluation process.These approved projects encompass diverse engineering disciplines, reflecting Mirpur University’s commitment for excellence in the Engineering education.The success has been earned under the guidance of esteemed faculty members, including Prof. Dr. Anwar Khitab from Civil Engineering Department, Dr. Anwar-ul-Haq & Dr. Sohaib Manzoor from Electrical Engineering Department, Dr. Khuram Pervez Amber & Dr. Ghulam Qadir Chaudhary from Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr. Tehmina Shehryar from Software Engineering Department and Dr. Ishfaq Ahmed, Engr. Hafeez Ahmed & Engr. Waqas Ahmed from Computer System Engineering Department. These projects reflect the collective dedication and expertise of Mirpur University’s Academic Community.

Addressing the gathering Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sajid, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology credited this milestone to the visionary leadership of honourable Vice Chancellor Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed, Sitara-e-Imtiaz Military. He also extended his congratulations to all supervisors and students for their exemplary efforts. In response to this significant achievement Brigadier Younus Javed Younus expressed pride in the faculty and students of the University. He also highlighted that this milestone reflects the dedication & skills of the Engineering Community at MUST, Mirpur AJ&K underscoring the University’s commitment to advancing engineering education in the region.
