Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI (M), Vice Chancellor Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K along with Dr. Tahir Mehmood, President Anjuman Falah-o-Behbood e Insaniat Mirpur AJ&K (AFOBI) and Engr. Muhammad Waris, former Registrar MUST, Mirpur AJ&K inaugurated Green Wall & Plantation Drive at City Campus of Mirpur University on 30th July 2024. Event was jointly organised by Green Society MUST (GSM), Anjuman Falah-o-Behbood-e-Insaniat Mirpur & Directorate of Estate Management of MUST, Mirpur AJ&K.

Brigadier Younus Javed greatly valued the noble efforts of Anjuman Falah-o-Behbood-e-Insaniat Mirpur (AFOBI), Green Society MUST (GSM) & Directorate of Estate Management for promoting eco-friendliness and raising awareness about the importance of a green environment. He also emphasised the critical role of Universities in promoting environmental sustainable practices and expressed hope that the Green Wall & Plantation Drive would inspire similar projects across other educational institutions which would further contribute to the global fight against climate change.
