Students Assistance Centre (SAC) of Mirpur University has disbursed Rs. 5.2 Million under HEC Need-Based Scholarship Program to Undergraduate Students of Sessions 2023–27/28

Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI (M), Vice Chancellor Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K awarded Scholarships worth Rs. 5.2 Million to 50 Undergraduate Students of the sessions 2023–27/28 in a ceremony organised by Students Assistance Center (SAC) of Mirpur University. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sajid, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Rashida Hussain, Dean Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Khuram Pervez Amber, Director Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), Heads of the Departments, Faculty Members, Administrative Officers, Staff Members & University students.

Addressing the participants Brigadier Younus Javed commended Dr. Mohsin Zafar, Director SAC for his dedicated efforts in securing Scholarships for the University Students. He also congratulated the scholarship recipients & encouraged them to remain dedicated in their Academic Careers. He emphasised that continued hard work & commitment could open doors to further national & international scholarship opportunities. He reminded the Students that they are ambassadors of MUST & bear the responsibility of upholding the University’s reputation especially when appearing in competitive exams & interviews. He urged them to serve with sincerity & integrity towards their parents, teachers & the institution, as these values are essential for personal & professional success.
