April 25, 2024Mirpur University’s Mathematics Department has reached its 7th milestone in PhD attainment
PhD Scholar Ms. Sana Sakinder, Department of Mathematics of Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K has successfully defended her PhD thesis after completion of her research under the supervision of Dr. Taimoor Salahuddin, titled as:
“Numerical Study of Nonofluid’s Flows”
The thesis of Ms. Sana Sakinder was evaluated by two International Evaluators:
1. Prof. Dr. Anjan Biswas, Departmenet of Mathemtical Sciences Delware State University 1200N
Dupont Highway Dover, DE 19901 – 2277, USA.
2. Prof. Dr.Youssef Raffoul Department of Mathematics, Science Center (937) 229 – 2104, University of
Dayton USA.
The first of the seven minted PhDs within a year was accomplished in March 2023 under Prof. Dr. Rashida Hussain’s supervision. The next followed in June under Dr. Syed Zakir Hussain Bukhari’s guidance after which four more were completed in August & September 2023. Among these two were supervised by Prof. Dr. Rashida Hussain, one by Dr. Asghar Ali and one under Dr. Aamir Sagheer’s supervision. Today the seventh individual completed her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Tamoor Salahuddin.
