A project from the students of Computer System Engineering (CSE) led by Engr. Hafeez Ahmed was selected as the 1st runner-up out of 4500 projects from all over Pakistan in the IGNITE Championship 2022-23 & received Rs. 350,000 as prize money. The Championship took place in the Federal Capital. It is worth mentioning that Mirpur University was the only institution from Azad Jammu and Kashmir with a project selected in the first round for participation in the IGNITE Championship. More importantly during the championship project won the award of 1st runner-up amongst projects from all over Pakistan.
