MUST, Mirpur AJ&K in collaboration with Faizan Global Relief Foundation (FGRF) launched Tree Plantation Campaign at Jarikas Campus, dedicated to enhancing botanical richness & promoting ecological conservation

Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K in collaboration with Faizan Global Relief Foundation of Dawat-e-Islami organised Plantation Drive at Jarikas Campus of the University on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Prof. Dr. Naeem Iqbal Ratyal, Registrar MUST along with Syed Riaz Hussain Attari, Head of Dawat-e-Islami Mirpur Division & Mr. Sheikh Faisal Shahzad, Regional Director Allama Iqbal Open University, Mirpur AJ&K launched the initiative with planting of saplings. Ch. Aabid Hussain Attari, Head of FGRF Department Dawat-e-Islami Kashmir, Engr. Muzammil Mahmood Attari, Education Department Dawat-e-Islami Kashmir, and Mr. Muhammad Akaas Attari, Social Media Department Dawat-e-Islami Mirpur participated in the drive. Dr. Sajjad Manzoor, Director MIT, Mr. Daud Ali Siddiqui, SPS to the Vice Chancellor, Mr. Muhammad Ayub, Director Estate Management, Mr. Shaukat Hayyat, Deputy Director QEC & Mr. Hafeez Bin Mustafa, Public Relations Officer also took part in the plantation activity. Prof. Dr. Naeem Iqbal Ratyal, Registrar MUST thanked the officials of FGRF for their valuable services & consistent support in the University’s Annual Tree Plantation Drive. He emphasised that such collaborative initiatives play vital role in promoting greenery, enhancing the campus environment & contributing to a sustainable and healthy future for generations to come.
