September 16, 2024MUST, Mirpur AJ&K introduces Strategic Initiatives Plan 2024-2029 as part of HESSA-USAID Project
Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K under the leadership of Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI(M), Vice Chancellor MUST has taken a significant step forward by joining the prestigious HESSA-USAID project. This partnership has paved the way for the university’s first-ever comprehensive Strategic Initiative Plan, aiming to shape the future trajectory of the institution.
As part of this groundbreaking initiative, MUST has engaged its entire community of stakeholders, including faculty, administrative staff, and students, in a series of in-depth consultations. The process kicked off with a thorough SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), followed by listening sessions and group discussions held across all faculties. Over the span of three weeks, these discussions provided valuable insights into the needs and aspirations of the university community. With these foundational activities completed, the university is now gearing up to launch a survey to gather detailed feedback from all stakeholders. This feedback will play a crucial role in finalizing the university’s strategic goals and preparing the final action plan document.
The Strategic Committee, which is steering this effort, consists of prominent faculty members: Prof. Dr. Khizar ul Haq, Registrar MUST, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalique, Chief Finance Officer, Prof. Dr. Naeem Iqbal Ratyal, Chairman Department of Electrical Engineering, Dr. Khurram Pervaiz Amber, Director Quality Enhancement Cell, Dr. Mian Muhammad Zeeshan Javed, Chairman Department of Pharmacy and Dr. Sehrish Shafi, Coordinator Department of English.
