Directorate of Student’s Affairs of Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mirpur AJ&K in collaboration with Institute of Islamic Studies organized a seminar to observe Pakistan Martyrs’ Day on Thursday, May 25, 2023 in the Mechanical Hall of the City Campus of the University.
Dr. Asghar Ali Khan, Director Institute of Islamic Studies, Dr. Thair Aslam, former Director IIS, Dr. Shahbaz Shabbir and students of the departments spoke in the honor of the selfless sacrifices of martyrs of Pakistan. Speakers said eternal sacrifices and bravery of martyrs of Pakistan Army, Rangers, Police and other security agencies is unforgettable and strongly condemned the traumatic & tragic incidents of 9th May. At the culmination of the event special dua was offered for martyrs of Pakistan, who laid down their lives in defence of the Pakistan.
Event was attended by Dr. Thair Aslam, former Director IIS, Dr. Sajid Ahmed, former Director IIS, Mr. Ansir Ali Khan, Deputy Director Student’s Affairs, Mr. Naveed Shah, Admin Officer, Faculty members, Administrative Staff and Students of the Department.
