MUST, Mirpur AJ&K signs Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) to jointly implement Each One Teach One (EOTO) initiative under the Prime Minister’s Education Emergency 2024 being orchestrated to enhance literacy, education & community development across underserved areas while engaging University Students & Faculty in structured volunteerism, mentorship & National human development pursuits

Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI(M), Vice Chancellor Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K & Mr. Shahid Rashid, Deputy Director Operations National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at MUST Secretariat Jarikas on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. The MoU establishes cooperation between both institutions in planning, developing, implementing & providing consultancy for projects related to education, social uplift & economic development. These joint efforts aim to advance national human development goals and contribute meaningfully to the overall progress of society.

Beyond the EOTO Initiative the partnership would extend to broad range of collaborative activities. MUST & NCHD would share information on skill development, internships & employment opportunities for students and graduates jointly undertake projects by pooling expertise & resources. Moreover both institutions would organize seminars, workshops, trainings and conferences. They would support joint research in areas of shared interest and promote volunteerism and community engagement by actively involving students and staff in social development initiatives. The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Khuram Pervez Amber, Director Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), Mr. Daud Ali Siddiqui, SPS to Vice Chancellor, Dr. Muhammad Naveed, Deputy Registrar, Mr. Shahid Rafiq Qureshi, Assistant Director Education NCHD, Mr. Hafeez Bin Mustafa, Public Relations Officer & Engr.
