Students Assistance Centre (SAC) of Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K conducted 18th Meeting of Institutional Scholarship Award Committee (ISAC), which was chaired by Prof. Dr. Anwar Khitab, Dean Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences in Electrical Conference Room of City Campus. Before the interviews & selection process for Need-Based Scholarships Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI(M), Vice Chancellor MUST advised the interviewers to consider the students’ Financial need & Academic background ensuring that the selected candidates truly represent the ideals of the scholarship.

Dr. Mohsin Zafar, Director Students Assistance Center welcomed esteemed members for their time & valuable contributions to the ISAC meeting. Later he presented the agenda items in detail. Major agenda of the meeting was to finalize the awards for HEC & MUST Need Based Scholarships for the academic year 2023-24. Mr. Javed Hassan Awan, Project Director, Scholarship Division Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad participated in the meeting virtually. Other participants of ISAC were Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Director, Faculty of MUST Business, Prof. Dr. Rashida Hussain, Dean Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sajid, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Khurram Pervez Amber, Director Quality Enhancement Cell, Ms. Naheed Marawat, Associate Professor Ghazi Elahi Bakash Degree College Mirpur, Ms. Javeria Rasheed, Principal of Mirpur Science College for Girls, Mr. Ali Shan, Research Officer BISE Mirpur / Nominee Chairman BISE, Ms. Samreen Ayaz, Coordinator CSIT, Dr. Asghar Ali, Director Institute of Islamic Studies and Nominee of Dean Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.

The ISAC conducted interviews with shortlisted students present & evaluated them accordingly. Mr. Zahir Ali Akbar, Deputy Director SAC, Mr. Arshad Hussain, DEO, Ms. Sundas Jamil, DEO, Mr. Khateeb, Lab Assistant NTC were present to assist the committee.
