Mr. Muhammad Azam Khan, Former Chief Justice, Supreme Court AJ&K participated as cheif guest of death anniversary of the former President & first Defence Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Captain General Syed Ali Ahmed Shah, organised by Directorate of Student’s Affairs with collaboration of Ali Ahmed Shah Society, Institute of Islamic Studies and Department of Sociology of Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 1100 hrs in Mechanical Hall of the City Campus of the University.

Mr. Muhammad Azam Khan, Former Chief Justice, Supreme Court AJ&K, Chaudhary Shoukat Ali, Commissioner, Mirpur Division, Syed Nashat Kazmi, Advocate, President Ali Ahmed Shah Society, Mr. Shoukat Majeed Malik, former Secretary Information Govt of AJ&K, Raja Muhammad Zubair Advocate, President Supreme Court Bar Association AJ&K and Mr. Kamran Tariq Advocate, President District Bar Mirpur AJ&K paid tribute to Ghazi Millat – former President for his life-long services for the Kashmir cause and supreme sacrifices for the nation.

Prof. Dr. Tahseen Ghous, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mr. Muhammad Javed Malik, District Information Officer, Dr. Muhammad Altaf, Director Student’s Affairs, Dr Asghar Ali, Director Institute of Islamic Studies, Faculty Members M, Administrative Staff and Students of Institute of Islamic Studies and Department of Sociology attended the event.

Certificates were presented to the organisers of the event and at the closing of session prayers were offered for Captain General Syed Ahmed Shah, Former President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
