The ORION Society of the Department of Electrical Engineering in collaboration with Mirpur Institute of Technology (MIT) of Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST successfully organized an inspiring seminar titled “Life as an Engineer: Historical Context, Modern Roles & Emerging Frontiers.” The keynote speaker, Engr. Mobasshir Mushtaq, an industry veteran with over two decades of experience, delivered a thought-provoking session exploring the evolving landscape of engineering. With a distinguished academic background (MPhil, Aston University | MSc, Imperial College London), and vast professional expertise in IT, cybersecurity, project management, and procurement strategy, he shared powerful real-world insights that resonated with both students and faculty.

The seminar was honored by the presence of esteemed guests including Dr. Muhammad Ilyas Menhas (Chairman, Electrical Engineering), Dr. Sajjad Manzoor (Director MIT-MUST), and Muhammad Awais Ashgar, among others.
