January 29, 2025(NTC) of Mirpur University conducts Presentation Session on the newly developed Pension Module as part of the MUST ERP System
Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed Bhat, Director, Network and Telecommunication Center (NTC) of Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K provided briefing on multimedia through which he introduced newly developed pension module which is part of the MUST ERP System in the Mechanical Hall of the City Campus of MUST. The session was presided over by Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI (M), VC MUST who formally inaugurated the Pension Automation System. Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed Bhat, Director ITC delivered presentation on the key features of the new module. Developed by the NTC team where module was led by Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed Bhat with Mr. Asad Siddique, Programmer & Mr. Imran Khan, Coordinator, each of them played major roles. The module aims to automate the pension processing workflow enhancing both efficiency and accuracy.
Speaking on the occasion, Brigadier Younus Javed commended Prof. Dr. Khizar-ul-Haq, Registrar MUST for his voluntary initiative in creating the ERP pension module which will significantly benefit the employees of MUST. He highly praised the hard work of Mr. Asad Siddique & Mr. Imran Khan while offering his special thanks to Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed Bhat for his dedicated supervision throughout the development process. He stressed the need for all participants to actively engage with the new ERP modules & provide valuable feedback. Vice Chancellor reaffirmed his commitment to improving the management systems of the University, emphasising transparency & announced plans for the future implementation of additional ERP modules, including leave management and e-file management, he also outlined intentions to introduce a double-entry system in the next phase.
Prof. Dr. Khizar-ul-Haq, Registrar MUST while addressing the session emphasised on the significance of the pension module in streamlining the operational processes. He also expressed his gratitude to those involved in the project. Later on Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Dean FSS&H / Director FMBS & Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq, Chief Finance Officer spoke to the audience & commended the development efforts and highlighted the crucial role of the pension module in enhancing the efficiency of the University.
