Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K conducted a comprehensive training workshop dedicated to the preparation of the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) for various academic programs. Dr. Azhar Hussain, former Director QEC /Chairman Department of Physics served as the resource person for the session. The event saw active participation from program team members across various university departments and affiliated colleges.

The workshop began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by welcome remarks from Dr. Abdul Jabbar, Deputy Director of QEC who emphasised the importance of the training and introduced Dr. Azhar Hussain. Dr. Azhar then provided in-depth training on the eight criteria of the SAR, followed by a question-and-answer session to address participants’ queries.

In his concluding remarks, Dr. Khuram Pervez Amber, Director, Quality Enhancement Cell expressed his gratitude to Dr. Azhar Hussain and all program team members, highlighting the commitment to the continuous improvement of the SAR document. He also applauded his QEC team for successfully organizing the event. Dr. Khuram announced that QEC MUST will be issuing an annual calendar of training sessions and reiterated QEC’s ongoing support for the departments and affiliated colleges. Director also thanked all principals of the affiliated colleges and participants for their active involvement in the training, reinforcing QEC MUST’s dedication to ensuring quality education within the university and its affiliated institutions.
