Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST) as a PEC licensed Professional Engineering Body, is organizing a seminar on “Construction Industry and Climate Change“. The seminar is scheduled on Aprill 22 from 1000 hours to 1200 hours in the Mechanical Hall of the MUST, City Campus. The aim of seminar series is to provide professionals with opportunities to maintain, improve, and broaden knowledge and skills in the field of engineering.

The seminar will delve into the significant impact of the construction industry on climate change, addressing issues ranging from extreme climatic events to greenhouse gas emissions. The seminar will explore alternative materials and techniques that are eco-friendly, aiming to foster a more sustainable approach to construction.

Our distinguished resource person, Professor Dr. Anwar Khitab, brings over 20 years of industrial and academic experience to this seminar. He will lead discussions from his practical experience and research in the effects of construction materials and techniques on the environment, with a special focus on waste management and recycling in construction.

All PEC registered engineers are eligible to earn 0.5 points towards your CPD activity by attending this seminar.
