Department of Software Engineering has organized a workshop for the students of BS-Software Engineering session 2019-23 & 2020-24. The main aim of this workshop was to discuss various industrial projects and to motivate the students to work with industry and serve community by providing a technical support through software development. Mr. Muhammad Suleman (Executive manager, Muslim Hands, Mirpur-AJK) was the resource person who discussed various projects with students that were based on software development with aim to serve community.

Parallel to the workshop, walk-in-interviews were conducted by Muslim Hands, Mirpur-AJ&K to offer part-time paid internships to the students of Department of Software Engineering. Dr. Nouman Ali, Chairman, Department of Software Engineering, Dr. Ahmad Khan, Focal person for Final Year Projects, Engr. Areeb Ahmed Mir and Engr. Khan Awais Khan, Industrial Liaison Office from Software Engineering Department extended their gratitude to the officials of Muslim Hands, Mirpur-AJK for assisting MUST, Mirpur to bridge the gap between academia & industry.
