Brigadier Younus Javed inaugurates Xponentia 2025, FYDP Exhibition hosted by Students Development Circle (SDC) in collaboration with Business Incubation Center (BIC) to cultivate ingenuity & fortify synergistic Academia-Industry convergence

The Students Development Circle (SDC) in collaboration with the Business Incubation Center (BIC) successfully organised Xponentia 2025, FYDP Exhibition in Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K on Thursday, June 19, 2025. This vibrant exhibition of Final Year Design Projects (FYDPs) aimed to highlight student innovation, narrow the gap between academia & industry and provide young minds with a platform to present their work to professionals from the corporate and industrial sectors. The event was inaugurated by Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI (M), Vice Chancellor MUST, who toured the student exhibits, engaged with participants about their project concepts & future potential and encouraged them to explore their ideas further. He also commended the dedicated efforts of Dr. Sohaib Manzoor, Director Business Incubation Center (BIC) for his exceptional supervision of the entire event which significantly contributed to the creativity, innovation & professionalism demonstrated by the students. During the event Vice Chancellor was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sajid, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Muhammad Altaf, Director Student Affairs, Dr. Naveed Akram, Chairman Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Sohaib Manzoor, Director Business Incubation Center, Major (R) Jahangir Ahmed, Chief Security Officer, Faculty Members, Administrative Officers & large number of Students.

The event successfully introduced the exceptional talent of MUST students to external industry representatives & in turn brought real-world perspectives to the university environment.
