June 2, 2025Team from the Office of Director General Audit, AJ&K appreciated the University’s Internal Controls during the Audit of Financial Management, Administrative Procedures & Compliance of MUST, Mirpur
Audit team from the Office of the Director General Audit, Azad Jammu and Kashmir visited Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K from April 28, 2025 to May 27, 2025. The team was led by Mr. Jamil Ahmed Kiani, Audit Officer along with Senior Auditors Mr. Maqbool Hussain, Mr. Fareed Mughal & Mr. Murtaza Mughal. During their visit team reviewed University’s financial records, internal controls & compliance practices in different departments. Mr. Karamat Subhani, Internal Check Officer provided strong support throughout the audit. He helped by coordinating with Departments arranging the required documents & ensuring smooth communication.
On the last day of the audit Mr. Jamil Ahmed Kiani, Audit Officer along with his Audit Team met with Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Younus Javed SI(M), Vice Chancellor MUST. The Vice Chancellor thanked the team for their valuable feedback & helpful suggestions to improve the University’s Financial & Administrative Systems. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalique, Chief Finance Officer MUST & Mr. Nadeem Janjua, Accounts Officer were also part of the meeting. They discussed the audit team’s findings & future recommendations.
