The Department of Physics organized a farewell event to honor Prof. Dr. Khizar ul Haq on the occasion of his retirement, recognizing his exceptional contributions to both the department and his role as Registrar at MUST. The ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arshad, Professor of Physics / former Registrar of AJK University Muzaffarabad, who took the opportunity to acknowledge the remarkable career and achievements of Prof. Dr. Khizar ul Haq.

During his address, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arshad, who had worked with Prof. Dr. Khizar ul Haq both as a teacher and colleague, commended him for his exemplary professionalism and significant contributions to the growth and success of MUST, as well as to the Department of Physics at AJK University Muzaffarabad. He praised Prof. Dr. Khizar ul Haq’s impact in both academic and administrative spheres at MUST. Dr. Azhar Hussain, Chairperson of the Physics Department, also expressed heartfelt gratitude for his invaluable contributions and wished him the best in his post-retirement endeavors. The Physics faculty collectively recognized Prof. Dr. Khizar ul Haq’s leadership and unwavering dedication to education, paying tribute to his outstanding services and the positive influence he has had on MUST.

Reflecting on his career, Prof. Dr. Khizar ul Haq expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to work with Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arshad, both as a student and a colleague. He shared that it had been an honor to be part of both the MUST Physics Department and AJKU Physics Department. He thanked the faculty of the Department of Physics at MUST for organizing the memorable event. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the faculty presented Prof. Dr. Khizar ul Haq with an appreciation shield and tokens of gifts.
