The Directorate of Students’ Affairs at Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mirpur AJ&K, held a special meeting today to honor and appreciate the contributions of outgoing presidents of various on-campus and departmental students’ societies and clubs. Dr. Muhammad Altaf Hussain, DSA and Mr. Ansar Ali Khan DDSA were representing the university administration.
The meeting brought together student representatives who served as presidents of their respective societies over the past year, recognizing their dedication, leadership, and commitment to fostering co-curricular engagements on campus. During the meeting, heartfelt good wishes were extended to all outgoing presidents for their future endeavors, acknowledging the positive impact they made on student life and university culture. In addition to the recognition, upcoming plans and the new regulations for electing next society presidents for the coming year, were shared. The discussion emphasized continuity, transparency, and student participation in the leadership transition process. The DSA commended the outgoing student leaders for setting strong precedents in collaboration, innovation, and team building, and encouraged them to carry those skills forward into their professional futures. This initiative reflects MUST’s commitment to empowering students through leadership development and providing platforms for them to thrive beyond the classroom. The meeting ended with presenting certificates to the former presidents.
