March 19, 2024VC MUST initiates shifting of MUST, Mirpur to indigenous Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software developed by NTC of MUST
MUST, Mirpur AJ&K is going to be the first University in entire Azad Jammu and Kashmir which will be shifted to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / from Single Entry System to Double Entry System using the indigenous Software developed by the University’s Software Development Team, led by Mr. Imtiaz Ahmad Bhatt, Director, Networking and Telecommunication Centre (NTC) of MUST, Mirpur AJ&K, the software development team comprises Mr. Asad Siddique and Mr. Danyal Sakhi.
Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI (M), Vice Chancellor, Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K chaired a high level meeting at MUST Secretariat Jarikas for implementation of ERP in Mirpur University. In this regard Vice Chancellor assigned Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalique, Chief Finance Officer MUST and Mr. Imtiaz Ahmad Bhat, Director, Network and Telecommunication Centre (NTC) / Head of Software Team of MUST to shift Mirpur University to a Double Entry System and subsequently implement complete Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), using the indigenous Software of NTC.
Brigadier Younus Javed appreciated & commended Mr. Imtiaz Ahmad Bhat, Director Network and Telecommunication Centre (NTC) and his entire team for their successful deployment of ERP systems at the Kashmir Orphans Relief Trust (KORT), where it has been operational for the past five years. Mr. Amin Financial Manager of KORT was part of the subject meeting and presented the working of ERP at the KORT. Building on this examplairy track record of excellence, Mirpur University is poised to revolutionize its operational framework, starting with the Budget, Finance and Accounts as per International Standard of Accounting. Implementation of a Double entry system and later complete ERP will enhance the operational efficiency, resource management and modernization of Mirpur University.
