The 16th meeting of the Advanced Studies and Research Board (AS&RB) of Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K was presided over by Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI(M), Vice Chancellor Mirpur University in the Electrical Conference Room. The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Prof. Dr. Naeem Iqbal Ratyal. After the formal inauguration, Engr. Dr. Anzar Mahmood, Director of AS&RB, welcomed the guests and invited the Vice Chancellor to deliver his welcome address. Chancellor appreciated the efforts of the AS&RB and emphasized the importance of implementing Higher Education Commission (HEC) policies in both letter and spirit. He highlighted that the meeting was dedicated to advancing academic excellence and groundbreaking research and emphasized the shared commitment to fostering innovation, critical inquiry, and scholarly growth within the university.

Prof. Dr. Younus Javed urged faculty members to explore new horizons, deliberate on transformative ideas, and strengthen the academic rigor that defines the institution. He emphasized that the valuable insights and expertise of the participants would guide impactful decisions, shaping the future of the university’s academic and research endeavors.
