April 6, 2026ORIC Successfully Holds Commercialization-Oriented SRG 2025–26 Evaluations

Mirpur, April 2, 2026 – The Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at MUST successfully conducted the evaluation session for the Commercialization-Oriented Small Research Grants (SRG) 2025–26 today at the ORIC office.
Faculty innovators presented their near-ready prototypes addressing local industrial challenges in agriculture, energy, healthcare, and digital solutions, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A five-member Internal Evaluation Committee, headed by Prof. Engr. Dr. Muhammad Sajid, Dean Faculty of Engineeing, assessed the proposals based on commercialization readiness, market potential, and socio-economic impact.
ORIC reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, industry-academia linkage, and import substitution. The Director ORIC, Prof. Dr. Faisal Riaz, appreciated the applicants for their solution-oriented research and thanked the evaluators for their diligent service to MUST and the nation.
Selected projects will receive funding for final-stage prototype development and market entry.
