Dr. Khuram Pervez Amber, Director, Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of MUST, Mirpur AJ&K along with the QEC team conducted a three-day Self Review of Institutional Performance & Enhancement (SRIPE) activity from June 5 to June 7, 2024. The SRIPE committee led by Prof. Dr. Anwar Khatab, Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences, included esteemed members Prof. Dr. Rashida Hussain Dean, Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, Dr. Azhar Hussain, Chairperson, Department of Physics, Dr. Khuram Pervez, Director, Quality Enhancement Cell, Dr. Mohsin Zafar, In charge, Youth Development Centre, and Dr. Amir Sagheer Chief Librarian.
The SRIPE Committee welcomed the external team member Dr. Muhammad Asif Khan, Director, Quality Enhancement Cell, University of Kotli.During the three-day activity, the SRIPE committee meticulously reviewed all 16 standards and their relevant evidence. The committee visited various laboratories, classrooms, and other infrastructure facilities. Additionally, the SRIPE committee held meetings with various stakeholders, including students, faculty members, academic, and administrative staff, to gain insights into institutional performance within their respective domains.
In the exit meeting the committee presented its findings to Brig (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus Javed SI (M), Vice Chancellor, Mirpur University of Science and Technology MUST, Mirpur AJ&K. The Vice Chancellor congratulated Dr. Khuram Pervez Amber, Director QEC & his team for effectively completing the SRIPE activity and assured the committee that all recommendations would be addressed positively. In recognition of his contributions, Dr. Muhammad Asif Khan, external member was presented with a shield of appreciation by the Vice Chancellor.
