February 18, 2024MUST, Mirpur Observed Kashmir Solidarity Day to Expresses Support to Kashmiris’ for Right to Self-Determination
The Faculty of MUST Business School and Directorate of Student’s Affairs in collaboration with Society of Sciences (SoS), MUST Media Society (MMS) and Students Development Circle (SDC) hosted a significant event at the Mechanical Hall of the City Campus on February 6, 2024 to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day.
The event commenced with the name of Allah Almighty, followed by Naat and rendition of our National & State anthems which evoked sentiments of patriotism and unity. Throughout the event anthems resonated, underscoring the importance of solidarity with subjugated people of Jammu and Kashmir. Students delivered speeches, raising awareness about the significance of Kashmir Solidarity Day.
A compelling documentary provided insight into the current situation in Kashmir, offering insights into recent developments and challenges faced by its inhabitants. Ms Humaira Abbasi from the Education Department imparted valuable knowledge and understanding of the significance of solidarity with Kashmir. At the culmination of the session Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Director FMBS, Chief Guest of the event distributed certificates to the organisers.
