The open public thesis defense of Ms. Afshan Afreen, PhD scholar, Department of Biotechnology was held on 17 of February, 2023 at 2 PM in the Science block of city campus MUST. Ms. Afshan Afreen completed her research under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Tariq and co-Supervision of Prof. Dr. Kausar Malik, Director CEMB, Punjab University Lahore.

The external examiner appreciated the quality of work done by the scholar in the Department of Biotechnology and he admired the presence of the Vice Chancellor in the defense of a Ph.D scholar, he further said Universities make progresses under such able leadership. The Worth Vice Chancellor in closing remarks congratulates the scholar, her supervisor and family. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the Department of Biotechnology for conducting excellent research work and producing 5th PhD scholar of the Department.
